Cable car in Sapa, Lao Cai conquers the roof of Indochina – Fansipan peak has been recognized by Guinness World Organization as 3-wire cable car system with the largest difference between departure and arrival stations in the world with 1,410m. The project was started in November 2013 and inaugurated on February 2, 2016.

Fansipan cable car belongs to the tourist area complex Sun World Fansipan Legend of the Sun Group. The cable route has a length of 6292.5m, this is the second longest cable car route in Vietnam, only after Hon Thom cable car.
The departure station of the cable car starts from Muong Hoa valley and ends at Fansipan peak 3,143m high. The cabin has a capacity of 30-35 people. The total capacity of the whole line reaches 2000 people/hour. Thanks to this cable car route, it has shortened the time to the top of Fansipan to 15 minutes instead of having to spend a few days climbing the rugged mountain as usual.
During the excursion on the cable car, visitors will admire the majestic beauty of Sapa heaven and earth, especially Muong Hoa valley vast, range Hoang Lien Son majestic with green primeval forests.
The higher you go, the thicker the clouds will be, so visibility will be limited, but this is a new feeling for those who love to explore. You can watch the clouds drift through the glass of the cabin.

After stopping at the arrival station, visitors will have to conquer another 600 steps to be able to touch the landmark of the roof of Indochina. This distance will take visitors 15-20 minutes to complete all 600 of these steps. You can also buy a train ticket to be transported to the top, but you will still have to walk down to be able to visit all the beautiful scenery of the spiritual complex of Sun World tourist area.
