The Guinness World Records organization has recognized Ba Na cable car as The world’s longest 1-wire cable car with a length of 5801m. Cable car is located in An Son village, Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district, City. Danang. Ba Na cable car is located in the tourist complex Sun World Ba Na Hills of the Sun Group.
In addition to the above record, Ba Na cable car also recorded other records such as: The cable car route owns the longest unconnected cable in the world with 11,587m cable, Cable car route with the heaviest cable reel in the world with 141.24 tons. This is also the 3rd longest cable car route in Vietnam and the pride of Da Nang tourism in particular and Vietnam in general.
Named at WTA
Especially on November 28, 2019, during the World Travel Awards ceremony – World Travel Awards 2019 In Oman, Ba Na cable car has been recognized as The world’s leading cable car system. This is the first time a cable car system in our country has been named in this category.
WTA’s award is likened by the Wall Street Journal to the Oscar of the world travel industry. To step up to the podium, Ba Na cable car had to go through rigorous votes from experts in the field of tourism from more than 140 countries and territories around the world.
This is a modern cable car system with a total capacity of up to 6000 guests/hour with 22 cable posts and 94 cabins. Each cabin has a small capacity of 6-8 people, traveling time is about 15 minutes with a speed of 6m/s.
Sitting on the cabin, visitors will be able to see the beautiful green forests, admire the Toc Tien waterfall, which looks like a silk strip, fanciful among the beautiful white places.
The cable car will take visitors to discover the leading entertainment complex in Vietnam on the top of the mountain, Sun World Ba Na Hills. Including French Village – a miniature Paris in Ba Na, Golden Bridge – has impressed many visitors and many major newspapers in the world or Fantasy – The largest indoor amusement park in Vietnam.
